While each of us is encouraged to create wherever she lives a faith-filled anchorhold of steady prayer for the needs of the Church, we can also unite with other mature women to pool our intentions and support each other in this quiet, powerful task. It can begin with as few as three or four women dedicated to joining together once a month at a convenient time and place. This will allow them to strengthen their resolve to persist in prayer, and to share the burden (the privilege!) of praying for their families and parishes. The leader need not do more than help to organize the schedule and facilitate an existing framework, which should be completed in under and hour:
Catechesis materials will be provided, but the essence of the group is directed by their own prayer needs. Moreover, the cultural element (explained in the formation materials) creates an opportunity to bond as a group and to see how the smallest of efforts can influence those around you—especially children.
